About East Logan Family Day Care Scheme:
Based in Rochedale, we are a not-for-profit child care service licensed through the Department of Education and Training since 1983. We offer unique boutique education and high quality childcare service to families. The scheme co-ordination unit provides ongoing support, training and development opportunities, resources and networks with other educators.
Becoming an educator with East Logan Family Day Care you will be self employed and working from home, providing a caring, safe and educational environment for children. You will provide a play based curriculum that is centred around children's interests and needs as outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time, Our Place Framework.

Skills and Experience Required:
· Have a genuine desire to work with young children, sound verbal and written English, caring, respectful, positive and a professional mindset.
· Minimum Certificate III in Education and Care (or equivalent) or willingness to commence study.
· Hold or willing to obtain First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate and Positive Working with Children Notice.
· Able to provide an environment which is conducive to the health, safety and development, learning and care of children.
· Ability to promote children's learning in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place Framework (with support from coordinators)
. Ability to obtain or have an ABN and Public Liability Insurance.
. Ability to plan a play-based environment under the Early Years Learning Framework
. Adhere to National Law and Regulations.
